Solutia Inc. appoints Maroon Inc. to distribute Butvar® polyvinyl butyral resins and aqueous dispersions in fifteen U.S. Midwest and Great Lake States
Avon, Ohio. and St. Louis, Mo., April 16, 2007—Solutia Inc. has appointed Maroon Inc. (Avon, Ohio.) as its Midwest Specialty Additives distribution sales representative for Butvar® polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resins and aqueous dispersions and Solusolv™ 2075 an ultra low VOC coalescing aid which will be commercially launched in May 2007. The distribution sales territory assigned to Maroon Inc. includes the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Ohio. Maroon Inc. will manage the order fulfillment of Butvar PVB resins from its warehouses in Avon, Ohio and Forest Park, IL. The distribution sales of Butvar PVB aqueous dispersions within Maroon’s assigned territory will continue to be managed via Solutia's direct-shipment program.
